This blatant disregard for the value of a Black life must come to an end and it must end now!
It is proven that Humans are the creatures of least resistance. The picture above is panoramic
proof of human beings forced to take the position of the least resistance. The boundaries of tyrants are set by the endurance and willingness of those whom they oppress.
Prayer and faith are great as coping mechanisms. But as a community and a nation, we are far beyond these symbolic acts of humility and morality. The time for unproductive conversations has passed. The time for being politically correct in order to spare feelings and maintain any relationship is over. Black People are being hunted as if it's part of a hunting season or some sport. And without accountability or penalty imposed upon those guilty of these biased and race driven crimes. Find out that which any group of people will be subjected to, and you then know the measure of injustice and wrong which can be imposed upon them. And these will continue until they are met with proper resistance.
In 2007 the career of an NFL superstar came to an end when he pled guilty for his involvement in a dog fighting ring. This former quarterback served 21 months in prison. His name has become synonymous with animal cruelty. During the investigation it was discovered that 8 dogs were killed. After his release, the former NFL star was mandated to report to the "PETA" headquarters (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)to participate in their "Developing Empathy for Animals" course. This was said to be mandated as part of a plan to have the former athlete speak out publicly against Dog Fighting.
PETA's president , Ingrid E. Newkirk was quoted: "PETA knows from first hand experience that he is a selfish man(Former NFL Player) and a proven liar, probably a psychopath, who, if he had one grain of remorse, would never go near another dog as long as he lives. All things considered, it is a very small price to pay, especially compared to the suffering endured by the dogs who were abused and killed at the Bad Newz Kennels.
He( The Former NFL Player) lied to my face about how he loved his pet dogs and didn't see them as the same as the dogs he forced to fight to death. That was before it was revealed that he threw those dogs into the pit- and laughed while they were torn apart. Just as convicted pedophiles aren't allowed free access to children, anyone who is responsible for hanging, electrocuting, and shooting dogs and who caused them to suffer in other unimaginable ways should never again be allowed to be within 50 feet of a dog."
I am not one who advocates or promotes harm to any animal but this man was convicted of an illegal activity that brought about the deaths of 8 DOGS. In the above picture, there's 24 innocent and defenseless human beings who were murdered by police. PETA's president spoke words that suggested the man that committed those acts against those animals was a "liar" and possibly a "psychopath." PETA not only made a man who was sentenced and served his time complete a empathy toward animals class, but they completed ruined the rest of his chances of having a successful return in the NFL.
If PETA fights with such passion and determination to make sure a human being who killed dogs is punished over and over again, when does the punishment come for those who have killed human beings come into play? Where are the representatives of justice for black lives that will rest at nothing until the perpetrator is held fully accountable. Why haven't the lives of those murdering police officers been ruined in the same way or even worse than a man who killed dogs? As a community we must stop carrying on the practices of rest in peace and gone to soon memes and hashtags as a symbolic justice for lives taken away in hate.
Behavioral Science states that actions that go unpunished simply continue. And as for those who claim to advocate or favor freedom, justice and equality, yet deprecate agitation are simply men who want crops without plowing up the ground. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never has and it never will. As a black community, a human community and a nation as a whole we must bring an end to these ongoing outrages.
Men may not get everything they pay for or want in this world but they truly must pay for all that they get. If we are ever going to come from underneath the foot of murder by police or murder by our own people, we must do so by sacrifice and moral or physical struggle.
For there is no progress without struggle.
